We started Gender Weekends as a non-formal organization as a result of successful project with the same name. Gender Weekend aims at educating young people in Georgia about gender, gender equality, gender roles, gender diversity. By means of some training, workshops, local/international conferences we will be increasing awareness of young people towards gender identity.

About the project:
The main goal of the project is to raise awareness on gender equality among young Georgian civic activists in Tbilisi.
Objectives are the following:
1. To increase the level of knowledge of young Georgian civic activists and any other related parts on Gender Equality in connection with their field of interest/occupation/profession.
2. To support spreading information on gender issues among Georgian youth through the social media.
პროექტი "გენდერის უქმეები" განხორციელდა გაეროს საქართველოს ასოციაციისა და გაეროს შვედეთის ასოციაციის ერთობლივი პროგრამის "Confidence Building in South Caucasus" ფარგლებში.პროექტის მთავარი მიზანია ახალგაზრდა სამოქალაქო აქტივისტებს შორის გენდერული თანასწორობის შესახებ ცნობიერების ამაღლება. პროექტის ამოცანებია:
1 გენდერულ თანასწორობაზე ცოდნის დონის ამაღლება პროფესიასთან/ინტერესის სფეროსთან მჭიდრო კავშირში
2 ქართულ სოციალურ მედიაში გენდერულ თანასწორობაზე ინფორმაციის გავრცელება, ერთგვარი სოციალური ქსელის შექმნა
